HI-Tensile fence is not hard to install once you have become familiar with the system. Please refer to this instruction booklet (DARE High Tensile Fence Systems) This booklet will provide you with all the information you need to construct a Hi-Tensile Fence, Please read this booklet thoroughly before starting your project. There are also several You Tube videos on how to construct a Hi-Tensile Fence. Please view these as well. Some typical wire spacing options are shown to the right. If using electric fencing, position one electrified wire at animal’s shoulder height; this will cause it to hit the fence with its nose, making it back up. NOTE: The height and spacing of the wires will vary based on the size of the animal(s) you are containing. We recommend the 4 wire configuration for cattle.
